Sacramento’s grid is seeing a revitalization and it’s not just in the city’s downtown core.
Our alleyways, from Liestal to Jazz to Matsui, are becoming the breeding ground for new cafes and restaurants. The growing rents for streetside property combined with a push for infill development have led to entrepreneurial activity in the oft-ignored narrow streets.
Reporter Allen Young recently profiled three of Sacramento’s more prominent alleyway enterprises for Comstock’s Magazine and shares his story.
