The number of children hospitalized with COVID-19 in the U.S hit a record high of more than 1,900 over the weekend amid outbreaks caused by the highly transmissible Delta Variant. The U.S. Census Bureau also released new raw data last week showing a more diverse country. Latinos now make up nearly 40% of the population in California, while the state's Asian population has grown by 25% in the past decade.
