A New Year’s Day murder-suicide has mobilized people in communities in rural Amador County to work together to raise awareness about available services and try to help those who are the victims of intimate partner violence.
Ladysmith Black Mambazo formed in 1969, and in the last 50 years has toured the world many times over. The unique harmonies the group sings came to its founder, Joseph Shabalala, in a dream. Shabalala died this week.
