Sacramento, CA
Controversy followed when President Donald Trump accused Barack Obama of wire-tapping the White House and Trump Tower while he was president. Political Junkie Ken Rudin talks about that and how Mike Pence was found to have used private emails while governor of Indiana.
Former Department of National Intelligence official James Clapper said there was no proof of any tapping. Rudin calls it "nothing short of a constitutional crisis" when considering officials, including the FBI, calling the President's tweets unfounded with no evidence.
"You have the director of the FBI say the President of the United States is not telling the truth and that is a remarkable development," Rudin says.
Trump also released a new travel order, this time with only six countries on the list. The new executive order no longer includes Iraq and explicitly doesn't apply to green card holders.
Syrian refugees are now treated as regular refugees as well.
