Davis High School graduate Jon Hatamiya has proven his musical talents as both a trombone player and composer.

After graduating from the Manhattan School of Music with honors, he has gone on to perform in the Lincoln Center Orchestra with the Dave Matthews Band, John Daversa and many more.

He is returning home for a special performance Dec. 30 at the Davis Odd Fellows Hall.

He joins Insight to discuss his trajectory through the jazz world.
