Sacramento, CA
Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day.
We’ll check in with Mindy Romero from the California Civic Engagement Project about how despite recent surges in registration, voter registration rates in our region and state are still low.
She’ll also discuss events happening around the Sacramento State campus and across the region to help register voters.
On Wednesday, The Sacramento Public Library will host an event talking about the 17 ballot measures that will appear on November. You can find details "Let's Talk About Voting" here.
From Sept. 19-30, High School Voter Education Weeks will take place to promote civic engagement.
On Nov. 8, free music, food and behind-the-scenes of the voting process will be available at the Yolo County Elections Office Presidential Elections Bash.
