The third Annual Zee TV Desi Comedy Festival will stop in Sacramento this weekend.

The South Asian comedy festival will hold 11 performances across eight California cities this month, starring performers hailing from India, Pakistan, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Bangladesh, China, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.

Sacramento-based comedians Raj Dutta and DJ Sandhu join us on Insight to talk about how they got into comedy, where they draw inspiration from and how to develop material that plays to a multicultural audience.

They will perform at the Jean Runyon Theater on Saturday, August 14 (Pakistan’s Independence Day).
