Sacramento, CA
A local production company is planning to do something a little unique with a timeless piece of well-known theater. “Look Back in Anger” by John Osborne opens at EMH Productions in Sacramento Thursday night and two musicians will occasionally perform as “the voice” of title character Jimmy Porter.
Porter is known for his tirades in the play, which harken to Jazz music in their complexity and depth. Insight talks with EMH Productions creative director Elise Hodge about why their doing this play now. And we’ll meet actors Dan Fagan and Elyse Sharp, who perform the lead roles in “Look Back in Anger.”
