Ten years ago, Carmichael resident Dina Howard was diagnosed with breast cancer. As she underwent treatment for a year, she kept a recorder close by and documented her journey. That tape became "Dina's Diary: The Journey of a Cancer Survivor," an award-winning, first-person documentary produced by Capital Public Radio. Howard is still in good health and we'll talk with her about life after cancer and how she tries to support other women with breast cancer. "Dina's Diary" re-airs Friday, Dec. 18 in place of Insight.
