Sacramento, CA
The Sacramento Public Library has nearly reached its Summer Reading Challenge of signing up 40,000 readers. So far, 34,000 readers have signed up for the challenge. Over the life of the library’s summer reading programs, it has put more than 100,000 books in front of children. Today we’re speaking with two teens who have been part of the Summer Reading program: Kinsey Robeson and Tasiya Owens. Christie Hamm, the library’s manager of Youth and Community Services also joins us.
