California just experienced its driest January on record. So as California heads into what could be another dry summer, is the state better prepared for drought than it was last year? If so, what has it done? If not, what needs to be done?
In 2014, as California entered into the third year of drought, two UC Davis researchers took it upon themselves to document how the lack of rain is affecting the state’s farmers and ranchers.
