The Fragile World by Stockton-based author Paula Treick DeBoard follows the subsequent happenings after a family shockingly loses their college-aged son in a "freak" car accident. The narrative deals with revenge, dark family tragedies, grief, and obsession. It is to be released on Oct. 28, 2014. DeBoard previously published The Mourning Hours that won the Niles Library's Tournament of Books in 2013.
