Capital Stage's production of Tribes, written by Nina Raine and directed by Sacramento native Jonathan Williams, will take the stage Sept. 3 through Oct. 5. The narrative follows a deaf man named Billy navigating the struggles of belonging, family, and communication. Billy is played by Stephen Drabicki of New York who is hard of hearing, much like his character.
