UC Davis was selected this summer as the host campus and institutional partner for the "Imagining America: Artists And Scholars In Public Life" conference. This week, conference will host several panel discussions and presentations on engaging the arts and humanities.

Two hosts of the Cal Ag Roots podcast join Insight to preview their live performance of their episode called "There’s Nothing More Californian Than Ketchup: How the Invention of the Mechanical Tomato Harvester Transformed an Industry and Launch California’s Food Movement."

Aubrey Thompson is the communications director of the Agricultural Sustainability Institute at UC Davis, and also the audio producer for the Cal Ag Roots podcast. Ildi Carlisle-Cummins is the Cal Ag Roots project director at the California Institute for Rural Studies.
