California’s fishing seasons are officially in full swing statewide.
That includes the start of ocean salmon seasons and the general trout opener, which experienced some COVID-19 related delays. It comes as the state continues to see a surge in fishing license purchases. More licenses have been issued thus far in 2020 than this time last year.
