John Cox and Gavin Newsom, the two candidates for governor in California, will face off in a live debate hosted by KQED this morning. It will be the only debate between the Republican and Democratic challenger before the Nov. 6 election.

Capital Public Radio Capitol Bureau Chief Ben Adler has spoken with both candidates and offers a preview of the debate. You can listen live to the debate at 10 a.m. on 90.9 FM in Sacramento, or you can stream it online on our site here.
