Courtesy Dave Douglass Sacramento State’s Festival of the Arts continues this weekend with a concert featuring jazz trumpeter Dave Douglas. Douglas is known for his unique contributions to improvised music and he regularly performs with a diverse set of ensembles. “Scandal” is his latest album with Sound Prints, a quintet co-led with saxophonist Joe Lovano, and it celebrates unity in divided times. Douglas joins Insight guest host Randol White in studio to talk about and perform some of his work. He performs Friday night at Sacramento State's Capistrano Concert Hall at 8 p.m.
