It’s been a busy week in California’s capitol.
Gov. Jerry Brown decided to answer President Trump’s call and deploy the National Guard to the Mexico border. There were also big changes made to a controversial housing transit bill — SB 827 827 — that aims to build taller residential buildings near public transportation stations.
With all that news, it’s pretty easy to forget that there’s an election coming up, but the first vote-by-mail ballots go out in a few weeks and the race for California’s governor is heating up.
