A special concert at the Crest Theatre this weekend hopes to bridge the divide between East and Western classical music cultures.

Aptly titled Building Bridges, the Sacramento Youth Symphony will perform with a guest conductor and soprano travelling from Azerbaijan. The project is the brainchild of Director Michael Neumann, and will feature a mixture of classical pieces from Eastern Europe and the West.

Neumann joins guest conductor Mustafa Mehmandarov and Marziya Guseynova for the conversation.
