When people think about caregivers, they tend to think about those who care for older adults. But there is an increasing number of Americans faced with providing care for a disabled veteran. In the lead up to the airing of Capital Public Radio’s latest documentary “Who Cares,” Insight is focusing on different aspects of care-giving. In Wednesday’s show, we’ll hear about the unique challenges facing those providing care to disabled veterans and we’ll talk about the Mather VA Caregiver Program that provides families with support.
