Lithuanian conductor Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla leads the LA Phil in works by Messiaen, a symphony by Mahler and a violin Concerto from 1959 by Mieczyslaw Weinberg with soloist Gidon Kremer who is recently championing the music of this neglected Soviet composer.
