CapRadio Multimedia Producer Andrew Nixon and reporter Bob Moffitt spoke with people in Roseville and Sacramento about what they’re doing, if anything, in response to the coronavirus. Here’s what they had to say.
Charlene Wright, 52, hairstylist
“I have done everything the way I normally live my life. Nothing’s changed.”
Alex Dillard, 31, cafe manager
“For me, I have two little ones so we’ve done a lot more like hand sanitizing and been on top of washing their hands when they come home from school. Me myself you know keeping my hands and surfaces around the house as clean as possible.”
“We were actually thinking about going to Disneyland, me and my family, in May and we kinda put that on hold until everything kind of settles down.”
Noreen Ching, 25
“I’ve always been kind of a germaphobe, but I’m maybe a little more of a germaphobe. It’s just practicing good hand sanitizing."
Hadyn George, 24, shopkeeper
“My normal, everyday life hasn't changed."

Matthew LaPrade, 34, bike store manager
“I’d say maybe I look at the news more, try to keep up on what’s going on and where things are progressing.”
M. Taylor, shop owner
“The only thing we’re doing is alcohol-ing down our credit card machines and our counters a couple times a day. That’s about it.”
Audrey Hamilton, 51
“I’m actually being more aware of myself touching my own face, touching anything, my eyes, my nose, my mouth. I’m really being aware of when I’m doing that."
