Teachers in Yuba City will return to the classroom Monday. They have been on strike since Sept. 7.
Both the Yuba Teachers Association and the Yuba City School District say a tentative agreement has been reached for last year, this year and next year. Other details have not been made available.
The school district sent out an automated phone message to parents at 6 a.m. Monday morning.
The two sides say the tentative agreement was reached after negotiations that lasted throughout the day Sunday.
Teachers are expected to vote on the agreement this afternoon.
Also, it must be approved by the district's governing board.
