Santa Claus rode in on a fire truck to deliver 5,000 pounds of turkeys to the Stockton Emergency Food Bank.
Stockton firefighters and police officers donated $3,500, matched by Food4Less stores, to buy the turkeys.
Stockton firefighter James Klein says in its 20th year, the Turkey Drive has become a tradition.
"Through the years we've donated 100,000 pounds of turkey. It's a great way for the fire department to give back to the community we serve," says Klein. "There's a great need, so this is a way we feel we can donated for the members on the job to give back to the community and help that time of need."
The Emergency Food Bank expects to give out Christmas food baskets to 1,800 families this year.
