STATEMENT BY COUNCILMAN ALLEN WARREN
In response to Monday’s article in the Sacramento Bee, I want to state clearly that the allegations made by Ms. Chacon are false.
Since this matter is under investigation, it is inappropriate for me to comment further at this time.

Original story:
A former staff member has filed a sexual harassment complaint against Sacramento City Councilman Allen Warren.
The complaint was filed last week by Warren's former Outreach Coordinator, Delia Chacon.
She claims Warren "coerced her into submission to his repeated sexual requests" at her home and on trips to Atlanta, Jamaica, Reno and Oroville.
In May, she says she took medical leave because of stress related to the harassment and sent a text message to Warren telling him she would no longer submit to his advances.
The complaint filed with the Sacramento City Clerk's office last week says Warren first told her he would not fire her if she continued having sexual relations with him.
Chacon says he then told her she had 90 days to find a new job or resign.
In June, Chacon says she told an employee in the Sacramento City Clerk's office she was "suffering from a mental disability caused by Mr. Warren's harassment," but she did not file a report.
On June 23, six days after discussing a hostile work environment with the city clerk's office, Chacon claims "the City" threatened to fire her if she did not resign and take a $16,000 settlement.
Her complaint later questions whether the City actually fired her on that day.
Chacon says she sent the City a complaint on July 10, claiming Warren was continuing to sexually harass her.
Warren tells Capital Public Radio "she was fired and I will comment after the City's investigation."
He was elected to represent Sacramento City Council District 2 in 2012.
