The Rocky Fire in Lake, Colusa and Yolo counties doubled in size to 93 square miles over the weeked. Firefighters are working to contain that fire as well as many other burns around the region.
CalFire is closing in on full containment of the Swedes Fire in Butte County. That blaze grew to 400 acres and is now 95 percent contained.
In Tuolumne County, near Groveland off Highway 120 the Big Creek Fire has been halted at 204 acres and is 85 percent contained.
The Lowell Fire in Nevada County is currently 85 percent contained at 2,304 acres. Two structures were destroyed and one damanged.
The Wragg Fire burning in Napa and Solano Counties is now at 95% containment and 8,051 acres. CalFire expects to reach full containment today.
Willow Fire in Madera County is buring 5,700 acres in Sierra National Forest Southeast of Bass Lake. Evacuations are in effect in the area. Containment is 70 percent.
The US Forest Service is battling a lightning fire in Sequoia National Forest, eight miles Northeast of Camp Nelson. Dubbed The Cabin Fire, the blaze has reached 2,800 acres and is 2 percent contained.
In the far north of the state, a series of 70 lightning fires are burning across 2,692 acres in Humboldt County at 15 percent containment. There's also a 11,000 acre fire burning in Trinity County in Six Rivers National Forest.
Six lightning fires are burning 50 acres throughout Mendocino County at 80 percent contained.
The Fern Fire in Shasta County, near the community of Whitmore is burning 75 acres and is 90 percent contained.
