8:27 p.m. - In Placer and Nevada Counties, the Lowell Fire is about 85 percent contained at just 2,304 acres. Evacuation advisories are still in effect for Steep Hollow Creek Community, from Chalk Bluff Road to Banner Quaker Road and the Buckeye Ridge Community. All other evacuations have been lifted.
In Solano and Napa Counties, firefighters have contained the Wragg Fire at 95 percent. The fire has now charred 8,051 acres near Lake Berryessa. Mandatory evacuations have been lifted. The wildfire has destroyed two outbuildings and damaged three outbuildings and one house. All roads are now open to traffic.
The Willow Fire in Madera County is now at 5,656 acres and is 60 percent contained.
In Butte County, the Swedes Fire is at 400 acres and is 95 percent contained.
Lightning fires throughout Humboldt County have burned 2,038 and are 10 percent contained.
Meanwhile, six lightning fires in Medocino County have burned over 50 acres. The blazes are 80 percent contained.
The Big Creek Fire in Tuolumne County, burning off of Highway 120 and Sprague Road near Groveland, has scorched 204 acres and is 85 percent contained.
