The Sacramento Regional Water Agency released its April conservation figures Monday.
The agency says the region used 23 percent less water compared to April of 2013.
Amy Talbot with the Regional Water Authority says she is confident the region will meet Governor Jerry Brown's order of 25 percent conservation for the year.
"There's irrigation rebates which will help you replace some of your nozzles and give you weather-based controllers," she says. "There are a number of programs for rebates on indoor items. You can replace your toilet. That's the number one use in your house."
Last year, people who received water from agencies in the Sacramento region conserved about 27 percent.
But, this year's list include three cities not on the list last year.
Davis is doing the fifth-best job conserving water, but Woodland and Yuba City are in the bottom half.
Tuesday, California water managers are expected to release the state-wide conservation results for this year.
The State Water Resources Control Board is also expected to finalize the conservation orders for all of the districts.
