For only the second time in ten years, snow has disrupted the Amgen Tour of California.
There is a 90-percent chance of snow at Big Bear Lake on Friday according to the National Weather Service.
Friday's time trials for the men and women will be moved from the lake to Santa Clarita.
Amgen Tour of California organizers decided last night to move the stage because "conditions will not be safe for riders, teams, partners, fans or staff participating or attending the Individual Time Trial events," according to a media release.
Stage One of the 2011 Amgen Tour of California at Lake Tahoe was canceled because of snow.
